Refund Policy
Last updated: August 27, 2026
1. Try before you pay
Your first 10 packets are free. We encourage you to use that allowance to confirm ProofKit fits your workflow before subscribing — no card is required to start.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your first paid subscription period, contact us within 14 days of that first charge and we will refund it in full. This applies once per customer.
3. Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Renewal charges are generally non-refundable, but if you were charged for a period you did not intend to renew, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will review it in good faith — including a prorated or full refund where the plan went unused.
4. Cancellations
You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future charges; your workspace stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not charge cancellation fees.
5. Annual plans
Annual plans are covered by the same 14-day guarantee from the date of the initial annual charge. After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Service problems
If a technical failure on our side prevented you from using ProofKit for a meaningful part of a billing period, tell us. We will issue a credit or refund covering the affected time.
7. Exceptions
- Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service are not eligible for refunds.
- Fees already paid to third-party payment processors that they do not return to us may be deducted where legally permitted.
- Nothing here limits statutory refund rights you may have in your country.
8. How to request a refund
Email support@proofkit.app from the address on your account with your workspace name and the charge date. We respond to refund requests within 5 business days, and approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
